Wrap It Up Pretty Little Black Book!

It's been a long week of pretty here on the LBB Blog and we've got a grand finale we've been dying to share. And since it's 5 o'clock somewhere, and we're sure you're getting antsy to get out the door, here she is. An engagement session on Coney Island from Clean Plate Images that features a couple so cute & fun they even look adorable as Darth Vader. So enjoy your weekend (which we're sure you will after a fun shoot like this...

Austin Wedding at The Driskill Hotel from Jenny DeMarco Photography

This Austin wedding held at The Driskill Hotel and captured by Jenny DeMarco Photography is just about as glam + fabulous as they come.  From the super chic florals + branches dripping with crystals by Last Petal to the gorgeous metallic linens from...

Austin Wedding from SMS Photography + Bouquets of Austin + Barbara’s Brides

I am calling myself the number one fan of classic soirees with sweet little somethings today. This wedding, coordinated by Barbara's Brides, being number one of the favorites list. The design was deeply rooted in gorgeous tradition, starting with the flowers from Bouquets of Austin right onto the ivory and blush color palette. Then, enter my favorite part, the next layer. The...

Austin Wedding by Ku Photography

Where to begin, where to begin. Let me start off by saying that the florals in this fabulously festive affair by Bouquets of Austin are just be-yond. It's bouquet perfection for this Austin soiree if you ask me, and even if you don't ask me - I think/know you'll agree. Ku Photography snapped all of the fabulous shots, and each and every one made me completely fall in...

Wedding Rain Plans

It has been a very busy spring wedding season and unfortunately Austin has
had more than it's share of weekend rain. When I start to tour venues with
my couples we always discuss their rain plan for the wedding day. You
have to be 100% comfortable with your rain plan or I would encourage you
to select a different venue. We have had to go to our Plan B (rain plan)
more times than I would have liked this spring season.

The weather in Central Texas is extremely...

Martha Stewart Celebrity Wedding

I don't often share other planner's postings, but I really loved this celebrity
wedding of Cacee and Donald. Their theme was Formal Rustic and had
so many touches that my own couples have at their weddings. A elderly
couple watching from a far was asked to join in with the celebration of love,
they incorporated many ceremony traditions including jumping the broom
and breaking the glass. Guests found their seats with jars of sweet yellow
cake, enjoyed dinner including...

Simply Beautiful Wedding at TFWC Mansion

Wedding planning long distance has its challenges for many of my couples, but
working in Russia while your fiancé is in the states is even more difficult. Tiffany
was working on pre-Olympic details in Russia, so her plate was already very full.
We had very little time with them in Austin, so that is when I'm most grateful for
all of the fantastic vendors that I work with regularly who were very flexible
while Tiffany and Landon were in town on two visits.
